The Barstow Rodeo Stampede is like fine wine, "it gets better with age". The rodeo in Barstow gets more exciting each year and the crowds get bigger and bigger. In 2005 over 240 professional cowboys and cowgirls thrilled the audience at the Barstow Rodeo with better rides, faster times, spectacular throws, wild ties and of course, the girls (barrel racers) were faster and prettier than ever.

RESULTS!
Noah Bayes won the Bareback Event with a score of 82 points, David Howard took home Saddle Bronc with a 75 point ride. Veteran Stron Smith won time down roping in 9.6 seconds and Daniel Greer and Todd Hampton beat the best in Team Roping with a time of 4.4 seconds. Wade Steffen won the Big Man's Event (Steer Wrestling) in 4 seconds Flat, Maegan Riechert beat the field of Barrel Racing with a time of 15.95 seconds. The Bull Riding Event was won by Brady Williams who received a winning score of 85 points.
Speaking of Queens, Bridget Meadew was crowned Queen of the 2006-2007 Rodeo, Tiffany Rice was awarded Teen Queen , Sabrina Jasper is the new Little Miss Queen and Miranda Wessel Allmon is the Rodeo Ambassader.
